It was the Lions who earned the win and jumped in the standings into second place in the National Division. The Astros struck qucikly with two goals in the first 20 minutes, but the Lions roared back with four goals before winning the game 5-3. This was a meaningful game for both teams as there is only three points between 5th and 8th place.
David Guzman led the Brampton Lions with 2 goals followed by Alex Arbello, Jeremy Shepperd, and Augstin Medina.
The Lions return to action next Sunday August 16th at home versus St. Catherines Roma at Victoria Park Stadium. Kick-off is set for 3pm.
